Well, I promised Sherry I would update the site. I have all manner of things to show and tell about, but no pics with me at present save this one. I started a figure painting class a couple of weeks ago. This is my first foray into the world of oils as well as painting the human figure. This is what I came up with last week. Tonight we do four poses in 2 hours. I hope I don't end up with folks with three arms or two heads. That would be very bad.

I'll update more later when I'm home and can post more pics. Meanwhile, this will just have to do. Heh! You can't see what my "victim" looked like, so there's no way to tell if it's any good or not. Heehee!

It is about time you posted girlfriend. I love your artwork...pretty good. I should have taken somekind of art class instead of ceramic Raqu..and I am sure if Mark see this he can correct my spelling.I have noticed I am not part of the in crowd, or the group. Could explain why..I don't know about Mark's posts sometimes unless he tells me or I go looking for it....dunno....I am clueless....

Wonderful! Doesn't matter if it looks like the model. The model is only for inspiration and reference. Unless you're doing their potrait. ggg... You may become the official artist at the tatting events. You know...like the court artist who draws events as they proceed? LOL!

Aw, gee....you guys are really too nice. *blush*

Gina, I would LOVE to be able to do those kinds of sketches! Some of those artists are awesome.

Sherry, raku pottery is amazing. They have a large raku kiln behind the Art and Arch. building at work. I'm amazed at the variety in the finishes produced. Be very proud of your pottery abilities!
