Ah - the long awaited, promised tatting. I started this a few days ago. It's going to be for my mom. I'm going to finish similarly to the citrine project base chain. I'm trying to decide if I want to do it in just those pinkish beads, or if I want to add some of those dandy gold beads, too.

Decisions, decisions. I'm dismally behind in my holiday tatting. Dismally. Behind. Really.

Cousin Joey has left Iraq. He's going to be in Kuwait for the next month while they process the members of the 278th back home. I'm so glad he's one step further to home.

Yay, Joey!

Sherry aka Celtic Dream Weaver said... the necklace do such beautiful work. I wish I could see it with my very own eye balls...but I can't so I have to gaze and drool over it in front of my computer screen. Need a bit of SciFi...where the necklace would just come right out of the screen for me to touch and look at....Heck it might make a real good SciFi movie...what do you think...??? doddododolledolle ( that is wierd science fiction kinda of music...

Cool Necklace! Lucky mom to receive that treasure.
Prayers to your cousin that he arrives home soon!

I think Sherry is talking about using 3D glasses so that the pic of the necklace will jump out at her LOL! Now that would be cool to create a pic done in 3D(red/blue so you can use 3D glasses when you look at your computer. Hmmmmm..... But then I wonder what that would do to your eyesight after a while. Looking at the puter screen isn't the best thing for eyes, and to top it off with 3D glasses ;)

Nope Mark, you are wrong....I was thinking of something where the actual object would materialize right out of the computer. So instead of seeing it on a computer screen...I could actually have my very own Erin's necklace for my very own....hehe...I know it sounds a bit Science fiction....but hey...I am also a trekie fan.
So there is my comment...probably won't be seen ....Does it now make any sense??
